I owe Tolkien: he reminded me of how phantastic reading can be. He showed me a whole new world which captivated me. Although the detailed description of the landscape and the history in the beginning is a bit dragging the tale of Frodo and his fellowship is spellbinding, epic and thrilling. Often imitated but never equalled!
