Sophie Jordan schrieb ihre erste romatische Geschichte schon in ihrer Jugend, während der langweiligen Spanischstunden in der High School. Ihre Leidenschaft für das Schreiben sorgte dann dafür, dass sie ihren Abschluß in Englisch und Geschichte machte.

Sie wurde Lehrerin für englische Literatur, nach mehreren Jahren Lehrtätigkeit an einer High School und mit der Geburt ihrer ersten Tochter beschloss Sophie Jordan ihren wirklichen Traum vom Schreiben wahr zu machen.
