Die Autorin Wendy Mass, wurde 1967 in Livingstone, New Jersey geboren. Schon als Kind liebte sie Bücher, was sie - nach einigen Schreibkursen - zur Schriftstellerin machte.

Heute lebt die mehrfach ausgezeichnete Jugendbuchautorin in New Jersey mit ihrem Mann, ihren Zwillingen und ihrer Katze.
