"If you have read (and I don't know why you should, but it will make it very awkward for me if you haven't) two books called "Winnie-the-Pooh" and "The House at Pooh Corner", then you don't need an introduction to this one." (Milne, p. 7)
I have read both books, some time ago - in german and in english. And who actually I am with Milne, who doesn't know Pooh, the bear and his adventure. And if you know those stories, then you'll know that Pooh likes to hum - a lot.
This small book unites Poohs best hums. Hums about the weather, about his friends - Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Roo, Kanga and - of course - Eyeore, hums about destruction, about adventure, about honey and the goodbye to a very dear friend of Poohs.
It's not a book for anybody. If you don't like Pooh or if you don't like hums - this is definitely not your kind of book. But if you love Pooh, his friends and adventures and if you like hums, then this is your book.
Conclusion: A small book for real Pooh-Fans.
