Wow, das war ein Guilty-Pleasure-Read. Die Prämisse von Shades of Grey, nur mit zwei Männern, besseren Hintergründen und so gut geschrieben!

Rules are made to be broken . . .

If England had yearbooks, I'd probably be "Arden St. Ives: Man Least Likely to Set the World on Fire." So far, I haven't. I've no idea what I'm doing at Oxford, no idea what I'm going to do next and, until a week ago, I had no idea who Caspian Hart was. Turns out, he's brilliant, beautiful . . . oh yeah, and a billionaire.

It's impossible not to be captivated by someone like that. But Caspian Hart makes his own rules. And he has a lot of them. About when I can be with him. What I can do with him. And when he'll be through with me.

I'm good at doing what I'm told in the bedroom. The rest of the time, not so much. And now that Caspian's shown me glimpses of the man behind the billionaire I know it's him I want. Not his wealth, not his status. Him. Except that might be the one thing he doesn't have the power to give me.

Arden and Caspian's love story continues in How to Blow It with a Billionaire, coming Fall 2017.

Fun and sexy, though a bit repetative

Working for his college's telethon, Arden strikes up a conversation with the billionaire Caspian Hart and invites him to a college dinner party. He doesn't really expect to hear anything from the man again, but Caspian does show up for the party and they share an intense sexual encounter on the balcony. Even though cold, composed Caspian rejects Arden for his ability to make him loose control, he still can't stay away from the exuberant young man completely.

I adore Arden, his humor and diction and unapologetic colorfulness while still being entirely normal (you know, young college boy normal). I think his narrator's voice is really funny and poignant. Also really modern with the memes and pop culture references.
I'm not 100% sure about Caspian. As Ardan I liked the glimpses of the 'real' him, but quite frankly, a Dom who's so chronically unable to restrain himself as Caspian, that he constantly does stuff to/with Arden that he regrets afterwards is just a bit too dangerous for my taste, even though I can see why Arden is so enamored with him. He seemed a bit to fairy prince-y sometimes, though. His compliments to Arden just a bit too cheesy and put on. But in the end, when he really does seem to try and work it out, I can see myself liking him better later on. I see the potential. And he does make me curious.

I really liked the sex scenes, which often have a very internal, musing feel. They are hot, because I very much understand why Arden likes what's happening (and because I very much share his interests). And Arden is really enthusiastic about pretty much everything, which just makes for awesome descriptions. I guess it can feel a bit over the top, how much he's affected by little touches, but I liked his thought processes about it. Arden's rumination about submission felt really interesting to me.

The plot felt a bit repetitive, the constantly repeated pull & push, but it's essentially just a third of the complete plot-line, so I'm not hating it yet.

I haven't read 50 shades of grey, but I know most of the plot and the book seems to make fun of it or persiflage a few thing from that, which kinda seems to be obligatory for billionaire love stories nowadays. But I did not think it was badly done, though. I liked the point, that a sexual NDA would be completely invalid.
