Andreas Blank is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Paderborn, Germany. He has been Visiting Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, and the Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science at Tel Aviv University, Israel, as well as Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Hamburg, Germany. His publications include Der logische Aufbau von Leibniz’ Metaphysik (Berlin: De Gruyter, 2001), Leibniz: Metaphilosophy and Metaphysics, 1666-1686 (Munich: Philosophia, 2005), Biomedical Ontology and the Metaphysics of Composite Substances, 1540-1670 (Munich: Philosophia, 2010), and Ontological Dependence and the Metaphysics of Individual Substances, 1540-1716 (Munich: Philosophia, 2015).
Andreas Blank is Privatdozent und Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fachbereich Philosophie der Universität Paderborn.
