Oliver is in love with his childhood friend Lord Vincent, but Vincent has never shown any inclination to men. But then he figures out that Vincent visits a male prostitute every month and decides to take it's place, so he can have at least one night with him.

This story is a mixed bag. The sex scenes are well told and pretty hot, especially the first one. There's bondage, impact play, and D/s. The other two are essentially repeats of the first with some variation thereof.
The rest of the story is just not up to snuff, though.

The characters reactions for the most part seem quite stereotypical as well as way over the top and without thought. Vincent, quite frankly, acts like an arrogant ass all the time. Oliver I can like, but there's too few parts where he can shine.
The plot is insipid and pretty much just shoehorned in.
Cramping some much needed character development into the very last chapter as an after though felt like a cop-out.

If you want some sexy, historical BDSM action and can ignore a sub-par story, thumps up; if you want your erotica to be well though out and reasonable, stay away.
