Clare O'Beara, Amazon UK Top 500 Reviewer Eight people were in the room when a fledgling actress died. Kurzmeinung: Sehr gutes Buch! Besonders auf psychologischer Ebene wirklich gut gelungen.
    Absolutely thrilling

I chose this book because of a reading challenge but it was an excellent choice! A Group of former high school Friends meet after ten years again to go hiking in the wilderness of New Zealand. What they don't know is, that one of them wants them all to die. Soon the group is not only challenged by the wilderness, but also by themselves. And when one of them is murdered the doubt to each other gets even stronger. In my opinion Belinda Pollard created a brilliant plot. It was kind of a Krimi and adventure at the same time. But most impressive to me was the psychological aspect of the group members. They all want to survive and to come out of this situation, but very soon it is clear that they can not even trust each other. Everyone of them has his own dark secret which he wants to keep but one by one they are all lifted....
