As everyone knows cats are very reader-friendly animals. They like to relax, nap, lie in some comfortable spot spending their time most likely thinking about what they have read last night (since they can see in the dark, it’s seems obvious that they only visit the library after sunset). They don’t like to be rushed and have a natural aversion against human stupidity.
Bookstore cats seem to be an American curiosity. These felines act like mascots for their stores, some of them have hilarious names like The Great Catsby or Boba Wilbur Bumpus and several have already reached VIP status and have large numbers of online followers.
Here you can take a look at them in their natural habitat, sitting on or among bookshelves looking like the wisest cats in the world.
Of course one should not expect too much of a book like this. It does not contain the answers to the secrets of the universe. It’s just a collection of pictures showing cats and books. However I really feel there should have been more of these pictures, and I’m sure numerous bookish cats are disappointed that they have been left out. An adorable, albeit too short book.
