Molto grandioso! I just love the 30s character of Hollis Carpenter. Entertaining, intelligent and thrilling. Have to check IMMEDIATELY if there are more than the 2 books by Deborah Powell I already know available! Definitely the High Class of lesbian hardboiled crime fiction. Nothing like it as far as I know.
