This is the eleventh book of the Gold Hockey series and I like that the team is one big family. You meet most of the characters over and over again, it's a bit like being a fan of the team. Ethan is very intelligent but still goes his way as a professional field hockey player. Dani is a nerd, and she likes computers better than people. She is very shy, and she has also experienced some unpleasant things in her life. The two yearn for each other for years before Ethan gets the courage to ask Dani out. Dani's shyness makes her uncomfortable, and she doesn't believe that a hot guy like Ethan could really be interested in her. This book is in equal parts about romantic love or being in love and about self-love and self-esteem. This causes problems for Ethan, who has extremely intelligent and successful parents. And Dani feels very uncomfortable in her skin and her head. I liked the book very much, and I think the subject of self - love is very well described. Instead of big dramas in the past, here are quiet creeping problems that can weigh a person down quite a bit and although the environment and family love you, you have to love yourself first to find happiness. Ethan impressed me with his patience and strength, he's a great guy and everything fits together. And Dani takes forever to thaw out, but as a reader you are all the more happy about her happiness. A great book with wonderful characters.

After a one night stand at Kelseas wedding Brad sneaked out. Heidi never want to meet him again, but he still is the brother of Kelseas husband. When they meet again, Brad will do everything to make amends his mistake. Heidi is a scientist who loves her job, but family isn't always nice with her, so she has a great lack of self confidence. Brad has a lot of work to do to give Heidi the right look about her life. He himself was always fleeing the situations. Never be responsible for someone, that was his lifestyle. Let nobody in your heart, so it can't be broken. But now he knows what he wants, and this is Heidi.
I loved this book a lot. It's without any drama so the development of the figures is well described. Only falling in love, and how that feels is what matters. I also loved how Brad is with Heidi, always supportive, and he always gives her the right to live her life and love her job. The erotic moments fit well in this story and Heidi learns to let go of bad influences and live the life she wants.
Brad learns to give his heart away and that it not always hurt to stand for someone. You welcome old friends in this book, but it can be read as a stand alone - no problem.
I loved the banter between the two and the support from their friends. This is a story about taking a leap of faith and it's wonderful.

The higher the walls the more you need to tear them down. Charlotte has extremely well saved feelings because Logan hurt her much. Logan needs to do a lot of work to win her back. I loved how the two of them worked out the past, and tried to move forward. It's hard for Charlotte to succeed in a man's world and I understand Logan's way to deal with it in the past. Charlotte is absolute 100 percent working - obsessed, and it needs much time to get her out of her shell. Logan is a strong character and together both are supporting each other. I enjoyed this book a lot there were fewer characters from the team and more feelings to go through but it's a well written heartwarming book in the Gold Series.
