__________________________________________________________________________________ During the fight with a seemingly superior enemy, Alex King is transported in a world where he awakens (to his shock) as a woman. The only one who finds this peculiar is, well, he. Not even his girlfriend Jackie appears surprised. Because of that and a second set of memories from his “femme-me” he starts to think he is going crazy, but the truth is way worse. Out of this fast-paced start arose a story, which was way better than I expected. Initially I was, admittedly quite sceptical, because I was not sure about what to expect and then, just like that, I was smitten. This story is delightfully different from the author’s other books and now I am wondering why I hesitated to read this book, in the first place (*shaking my head about my own stupidity*). This fast-paced story contains everything this author is known for: super likable characters, an inventive story line, an enthralling art of story-telling and just the right amount of romance. And, of course, it was again a great pleasure to listen to Hollie Jackson. Erik Schubach’s stories and her narrating are couples made in matchmaking heaven.
