The beginning was quite promising: Cat and Heath fell in love as a teenager but then he suddenly disappeared and Cat didn't hear from him for 4 years but now she has moved on.
Quite after the promising start I started to get annoyed pretty quickly. I didn't like the moment when Cat and Heath see each other again and I didn't like how Ethan was put more and more into the wrong light. It felt too forced with the only purpose to make the reader dislike him and show the coming break-up.
Even though I think that Cat and Heath had more chemistry than Cat and Ethan, the story couldn't persuade me. There was wayyyy too much drama. If there wasn't coming something from the outside, then Cat started to dramatise everything with her jealousy and insecurity. This was really annoying. There was drama everywhere and with everyone.
The ending came really quickly and I just didn't feel very completed, although it must be because the second part is about another character.
The writing style was easy and enjoyable to read but the story just wasn't mine.
