INTRODUCTORY OFFER PRICE When sixteen-year-old Eden Munro agrees to spend the summer with her estranged father in the beachfront city of Santa Monica, California, she has no idea what she's letting herself in for. Eden's parents are divorced and have gone their separate ways, and now her father has a brand new family. For Eden, this means she's about to meet three new step-brothers. The eldest of the three is Tyler Bruce, a troubled teenager with a short temper and a huge ego. Complete polar opposites, Eden quickly finds herself thrust into a world full of new experiences as Tyler's group of friends take her under their wing. But the one thing she just can't understand is Tyler, and the more she presses to figure out the truth about him, the more she finds herself falling for the one person she shouldn't: her step-brother. Throw in Tyler's clingy girlfriend and a guy who has his eyes set on Eden, and there's secrets, lies and a whole lot of drama. But how can Eden keep her feelings under control? And can she ever work out the truth about Tyler? Did I Mention I Love You is the first book in the phenomenal DIMILY trilogy, following the lives of Eden Munro and Tyler Bruce as they try to find their way in an increasingly confusing world.

Hatte etwas mehr erwartet, da die Reihe ja ziemlich beliebt sein soll. Trotzdem eine nette Story und ich werde auch die Nachfolger lesen =)

A strange love story and a lot of teenage drama!

Eden is a sixteen years old girl, whose parents are divorced. After two years, her father invites her to spend the summer break with him and his new family. A beautiful woman and tree step-brothers, who Eden thought were toddlers, but she is wrong. One of them is a little boy, the other two are teenagers. Tyler, the oldest one of the step-brothers, is one year older then Eden and a truly badass, who brings nothing but trouble. He tries to avoid Eden as much as he can and is being rude every time Eden speaks to him, which is not often. Eden also is not fascinated by her step-brother, but in a way she finds friends who are in the same friend-circle with Tyler and unfortunately she has to see him more often. Will this end good? And what happens when one forbidden kiss changes everything? One thing is clear, no one is aloud to find this big secret out, but this happens to be difficult with Tyler's girlfriend being on the picture. The plot is really good and the tension is never stopping during the whole book. It is a typical teenage story with a different love story. Estelle Maskame's writing style is easy and fluent to read. Nothing special but still keeps the reader reading and captured. For a young author like her, the book is really well-made with a lot of plot-twist and suspense. Tyler is an attractive young teenager with black hair and green eyes, virtually a dream boy, but still he is rude, a troublemaker and has out of all things two facades. One is his bad boy image and the other one is a truly broken boy, who needs someone to drag him out of his misery and his current girlfriend is not doing much effort to do so.Eden is a beautiful girl, who definitely is not perfect in any way. She does not have a body like a model or is a shopping addict like the girls around her. The sixteen years old tries to stay healthy and fit while going on jogs almost everyday, but the story behind her jogs is saddening.I fully can identify myself with the characters, but mostly with Eden, what makes the book even more attractive for me. Also the characters are mostly sympathetic. Most people would be terrified to read a "step-sibling love story", but I think it's worth it to read and therefore I decided to give this book five stars. If you want to read a lot of teenage drama with real life problems and a somewhat different love story you definitely should read this book!
