Mina wants to put her seduction by a golden-eyed devil behind her, but the birth of her son Jacques renders that impossible. She tries to forget the only man who ever roused her passion, but when she notices her son exhibiting strange behavior--and less than human characteristics--she realizes she must face her past and learn to trust, and love, again.
Howling drunk, the one thing Remy clearly remembers is seducing Mina. A pity he didn’t think to get her address, especially since he marks her as his mate. When she disappears, he’s got plenty of time to regret, but he doesn’t get a chance to atone until she comes back into his life with an unexpected surprise.
Thrust into the role of father, Remy works to bond with his son while at the same time gaining forgiveness. But will he get the chance to truly make her his mate before danger threatens their fragile happiness?
WARNING: Not all pleasures are a sin…
I like anything written by Eve Langlais, however this book did not even feel like her writing. Although the story line was decent (hence why I did give it two stars), the issue of race was overbearing in the book. I can understand addressing the issue, but not in every scene in the book. Even the sex scenes were about her "ivory" and his "coco" skin every single time. Mina is a mother, other 20 and totally prude about sex…
Other of her books has had different races/species together and it did not dominate the entire story as it did with this one. By the end of the book you really wanted to scream "get over it already woman". I don't know what happened with her writing in this one, but it definitely was a letdown.
What I really didn´t like was the abstract, I mean come on; the story is different from this describe.
I am really disappointed with the Transposition!!!
