JJ Harper

I loved the last series by JJ Harper and was therefore already looking forward to this book. The author has a great writing style that allowed me to dive into the story very quickly.  
Ronan is a daddy-dom who is looking for a boy. He meets this one in Cody, a boy who has had a troubled childhood. When the two meet, they seem perfect for each other. However, as with any couple, there are issues that arise that need to be resolved. And then there is Ronan's best friend Harley, who is also looking for a boy. But things get really serious when Cody is threatened by someone. I enjoyed the story. It was pleasant to read, I could relate to the emotions and there were steamy scenes. The development of the relationship of first the two and then the three was great described. However, I would have liked to know a little more about Harley.
And with Cody's threat, the suspense was not too short.
I give it 4.5 stars and I'm already looking forward to the next volume.

I really like the Heavy Load series. Here Stefan and Marty get their story. Marty is struggling through life after the breakup with his ex. He is lonely and there is not much left of his self-confidence.
A little card and a visit to a club lead him to Stefan, a daddy.

I enjoyed this short story of the two very much and I was happy to see the other protagonists of the series again.
If you enjoy listening to Daddy/Little stories, you should definitely listen to this audiobook. Sweet, sexy, and fun! These two are really cute together. The author did a great job of describing the dynamic between them in a compassionate way.

Liam diCosimo did a great job bringing the characters to life.

I don't know all the books in the Heavy Load series, but that doesn't matter. Because I could follow this story well even without knowing all the previous volumes. This was partly due to the great writing style of the author. Because it is easy-going and very entertaining.

Malachi is looking for a Dom, but the master he has in mind has chosen someone else. So Malachi focused on his job and got his dream job at Heavy Load. At the same time, Logan and Corey, the bosses of Heavy Load and also life partners are looking for a permanent sub in their relationship. In the club they notice Malachi, but he has his reasons to say no for now. But after a night together could be more in it and then Logan comes with rash words around the corner and Malachi takes flight first.
I loved Malachi and could understand his motives well now. I also really liked his assertive nature. He may be a sub, but he knows what he wants and how to get his way. Logan and Corey are equally likable and there are constant ups and downs in the relationship of the three.
The story has everything it needs to be entertaining: interesting characters, tangible emotions, some drama and angst, but also hot scenes and a happy ending.

Liam diCosimo narrated the audiobook and he hit just the right tone. He gave the protagonists different voices so that as a listener you could tell them apart easily. He is good at portraying emotions without overdoing it and it was a pleasure to listen to him.
