Für alle Fans von Simone Elkeles und die, die auf der Suche nach einer süßen Liebesgeschichte mit besonderen Charakteren sind

Some people thought I hid behind all my tattoos and piercings, that I tried to distance myself from my dead twin, Shaw saw through it all and wasn't scared of what was underneath. We weren't supposed to be together, weren't supposed to be anything except uncomfortable acquaintances but that all changed in the blink of an eye.
Now I had to figure out just how a girl like her and a guy like me were supposed to be in love without destroying each other. Add in her custom made ex and two disapproving sets of parents and the whole situation sounded to me like it was more trouble then it was worth.

Ich habe dieses e-book durch Zufal bei amazon entdeckt und innerhalb von zwei Tagen durchgelesen. Als ich gesehen habe, dass es hier auf lovelybooks noch keine Rezi gibt und auch in so gut wie keiner Bibliothek zu finden ist, habe ich mir gedacht, dass muss sich ändern, denn mich hat das Buch überzeugt. Wie schon oben in der Inhaltsangabe zu erkennen, ist dass Buch abwechselnd aus der Sicht von Shaw und Rule geschrieben. Beides sind sehr starke Charaktere, die man als Leser schnell ins Herz schließt. Beide haben ihre Lasten zu tragen und auch wenn das Buch sich wirklich so gut wie nur auf die Liebesgeschichte konzentriert, wird es nie langweilig und auch die Nebencharaktere sind sehr liebevoll gezeichnet.
Es gibt Sexszenen und ist somit kein ganz braves Jugendbuch mehr, aber es ist keine Andernadereihungen dieser und der Fokus liegt ganz klar auf der Entwicklung der Charaktere und wie sie mit ihrer Liebe zueinader umgehen. Dabei wird es aber nie zu kitschig, sondern bleibt alles sehr realistisch. Mich hat das Buch wie ganz oben geschrieben an die Bücher von Simone Elkeles erinnert und vielleicht ein wenig erwachsener.
Ich habe das Lesen sehr genossen und bin sehr froh, dass es von Jay Crownover wohl noch ein weiteres Buch geben wird. Also wenn der Inhalt und meine psoitive Meinung neugierig gemacht hat, ladet euch das e-book runter. Der Preis von 1,56€ ist für mehr als 300 Seiten auch mehr als nur fair! :)
