“Some people wait forever, and only at the end of their lives do they realize that their life has happened while they were waiting for it to start.” (P54)
Stick to what you have and be happy while you can. That sounds terribly easy and yet is probably the most difficult lesson to learn. I profoundly enjoyed this read. Walter picked Italy and Hollywood as the great American longings and I feel like he absolutely nailed it. There is no such thing than the American dream - the one way of getting life right. There is people and their life stories, and they all deserved to be told as they are all equally valuable.
