This was so much fun. It was Ghostbusters meets Sherlock Holmes. It was FUNNY and INTERESTING and I am OBSESSED WITH LOOKWOOD & CO. Also, and I can't believe I am saying this about a Young Adult Paranormal book series but - I was kind of scared a few times. When I let myself fall into the atmosphere, I definitely felt it.

I can't name a single thing that annoyed me. I liked Lucy, liked Lookwood, liked George (he reminds me of Chubs from The Darkest Minds') and I LOVED the dynamic between them. (Especially Lucy/Lookwood and Lucy/George)

"What a great article," Lookwood said, for the twentieth time that day. "Couldn't have been better."
"They spelled my name wrong," I pointed out.
"They didn't even mention me," George said."

I was completely in the world and read this book in like a day??? (I didn't count the hours) (Maybe I should have) and I am SO GOING TO BUY THE NEXT ONE SOON. Really really soon. Maybe today. (Maybe) Also, great name (Screaming Staircase) and I totally knew the THING (I'm super proud of myself) and I'm just so ready for all the adventures to come for my little trio.

alternative titles for Lookwood& Co: Screaming Staircase
- The carefree boy with cool hair and mood swings and his two friends, the brave and reckless Lucy and the clever and rude George (a little long, I know)
- The Boy-who-never-speaks-his-thoughts, the doughnut lover and the ghost whisperer (I like this one)
- The Red Room & his more evil sister the screaming staircase (very true)

PS: This would be an awesome tv series.
PSS: When I started this series, I thought the mains would be in their twenties but they.are.so.damn.young
