Julie Buxbaum knows how to write so you dive deep into the story and feel all the feelings of the protagonists. This book is just amazing. Emily is just the girl you identify with. At the end of her 20s, she wonders what will become of her. She quits everything: Her relationship, her job, her old life. First she doesn't know what to do next. But then, after putting everything in perspective with help of a therapist, she knows what to do for her own sake. She starts appreciating family, friends, love and her possibility to make her own choices more and more. This way, she - and her family that is somewhat rearranged - starts being happy and enjoying the good things in life. I cried like a baby for the loss that Emily felt and for the joy that came to her when she expected it least. Thanks, Julie Buxbaum, for writing such a fantastic novel!
