This story starts in the 1960's, Laurel is seet 16 and likes to keep secrets. But one day, all changes, because she witnessed a shocking crime. ...
But then in 2011 she comes back home and beginns to bring pieces together, her memories and the mystery of what she saw when she was 16. This secret story of her mother Dorothy, and her friends Vivien and Jimmy is long, all started in wartime London.
Kate Morton is shifting between the 1930's, 1960's and 2011 and that makes this book so special... I really can't lay it down, I just want to know what happend next.
In January 2013 the book came out at Diana Verlag under the name "Die verlorenen Spuren". I know, when I got time, this would be the next book i read in german language.
