The end- for now ;) Hope more books will come

And again: I won´t summarize the book. My review will just consist of my thoughts and will be like the reviews of the other books. There might be some tiny spoilers though this time. So just keep reading if you already read the book or if you don´t care about SPOILERS.

This book also had (like books 1-3) changing povs and had this time also the pov of Viktor.

At first I didn´t like that there was now another pov thrown into this series. I couldn´t make up my mind about Viktor and had no idea what his intensions were. The more I read though, the more I started to like him and his pov. Still would have loved to have more povs of Benny.

In general- I feel this series is more about the others than about Benny. There were probably more povs by the other characters than Benny (didn´t count, but maybe I will once I own the paperbacks ;) ) . There´re so many povs by Jade and then Dillon. I could never really connect to them and even started to dislike them in this book. As I said- I´d have loved to read more about Benny, his thoughts, his feelings... That´s why I like/d book no. 3 more.

Dillon- he annoyed me. Always with his: I´m going to kill him. I´m going to kill Benny. I will kill Benjamin. I will remove him from this earth. Bla Bla Bla. Him and his constant empty threats. In book one he was made like he´s one of the best detectives but he isn´t.

I loved how Benny finally found ppl who accepted and loved him. How he slowly started to accept them and himself and started to slowly change. To become more "human". Kinda missing his doll fetish and his crazy though ;) There wasn´t much left about it.

One scene wasn´t really logical. It was somewhere at the beginning. Dillon got a warrant for the club because of favors or whatever. He couldn´t have gotten it though. He had no proofs, no evidence nothing that would make this warrant rightful. The things he got, he hot illegally. The pictures- they were taken secretly, without permission and without the order by the police department. Means- They can´t use those pictures against anyone. The simcard with the video- Dillon stole it. Therefore he can´t use it and he has no proof that this simcard belongs to Viktor and there´s no proof that Viktor had anything to do with the stuff that happened in the video. Dillon had nothing on Viktor and therefore couldn´t have gotten the warrant. He couldn´t have taken Viktor with him for questioning as well and taking his laptop wasn´t rightful. Put me off for a few minutes when I read the book :/

Elizabeth.... She was weird. She was the sweet, nice girl who was fascinated with her brother and dolls. She was "normal". She was still "normal" with Benny and it was fine. There was nothing wrong for liking the things he did to her. Some ppl just have fetishes. But she changed very fast. Its like a 180 degree change. Now she lied, killed, deceived. Dillon was her best friend, her brother. Now she didn´t really care about him, did things to and in front of him, that wasn´t her anymore. She was a totally different person. She wasn´t brainwashed by Benny and wasn´t traumatized. There was no reason for her to become this person... It was just weird...

Some of the scenes...phew. Hot. The sexual tension. Viktor, Benny and also Beth...that was good :D

The V Games- interesting. Can´t wait to read about it. Hope I won´t have to wait too long for those books :)

Kami- It became clear why Viktor was so protective of her but later on...he always seemed to be into her and like he´s obsessed and in love with her. But then he acted like she´s not important :/

The thing with Lucy was fine. The scenes in this skatershop with Benny could have been longer though. Somehow every scene that could get interesting and has so much potential is always short. Those scenes could be longer and more detailed. I´d rather read less about the whole police/detective stuff and more about the crazy, sick, dark, twisted stuff :)
A bit weird though that they were able to find the weapon and fingerprints, even though the building was on fire.

I´m still wondering what Jade, Dillon, Elisa and Co felt and thought when they found out that Elizabeth was gone. She disappeared just like that. But there was no mention of if they knew what happened or if they are worried and looking for her.

I´m glad that the book ended this way. Kinda feared it would be the end end :P Still need more books though. More Benny. Could get more interesting now and maybe even darker. So- when will Book 5 come out? :P

A book about Viktors brother would be nice as well.

I enjoyed this series. It was good and I´d recommend it. I know my reviews maybe don´t sound like it because I write more negative points than positive, but somehow I´m better in remembering those ;) Doesn´t mean the book or series is bad though. So give it chance if you havent already :)

Favorite part of this series so far :)
pieggyvor 7 Jahren

So, so, sooo much better. This is so far my favorite part of this series.

Like I did with my reviews for the first two books, I won´t summarize the story and will just write about my thoughts.

I complained in my previous reviews that there weren´t much povs from Benny. He´s my favorite character of this series and I wanted to read more about him, his background, his thoughts and feelings... I´m so glad and happy that Pretty New Doll finally showed all that. My wish came true ;) I just wish that it would´ve been like that from the start, from book 1. I like the story in this part in general.

This time, the book shows not only the povs of the characters we got used to in the first two books, but also the pov of Elizabeth (Beth). I liked her. Her sister not so much, though. But I think that was what this author duo intended ;)

I complained in my my previous reviews also that the books weren´t so dark, crazy and that there weren´t much surprises and that most of the story was predictable. Well... I can´t say that about Pretty New Doll. It was so much better. I really enjoyed reading it.

Tanner was a great addition to the story. Really loved how those two powerful and dangerous men interacted with each other. How they wanted to be friends but at the same time didn´t trust each other completely. Loved the tension between them and the whole powerplay.

I still love Benny and all his sides. He´s strong, smart, sexy, dangerous and passionate. But he´s also sick, twisted, crazy and broken. Love the combination. And even though I´m not sure how I should think about him and Beth, I kinda love this side of him. He cares, he loves and wants to hurt but not too bad.. He doesn´t want to go too far and just wants to do the "necessary" things to train, keep and discipline his doll/s. Benny is just someone looking for attention and love. The things he never had. Well... He seems to have found his match even though it´s wrong. I want him to finally be happy and get loved but ...I don´t know...it´s weird.
At times Benny didn´t seem like the Benny I got to know about in the previous books. He always sang the song, he always said he´s not a pervert. Missed it a bit here. And why wasn´t he thinking of being a pervert now? He loved his sister Bethany as his sister. He loved the last Bethany as his parents captive, as a girl who just happens to live with his family. He knew they weren´t related so there was nothing wrong with their love. But now? It confuses me that he isn´t bothered by the thing with Elizabeth. :/
Also- I kinda miss his thoughts and feelings about Jade...

Dillon recognizing Benny...not really believable to be honest. Benny looks too different now.

Well... Except for the few things above, there isnt much I can complain about this time. I really liked this book and hope the last one will be as good. Just hope it won´t end bad for Benny- would be sad if it´s going to be the case. I´m very curious about how everything will unfold and what will happen with Elizabeth.

Book 4- here I come ;)

p.s.: Really would love to have these books made into a tv series :D

Good, but not as good as book one :/

Hmm.. Ok. I will do this review like I did with the one for the first book. I won´t summarize it as I think that anything I´ll say could be seen as a spoiler. You really should go blind into the books and read and figure everything out on your own.

I will just say what I think about this book and felt/ thought while reading it. And even though my reviews are usually longer and more detailed, my reviews for this series probably won´t be like that.

Pretty Lost dolls continued where the first book ended. It was good, though not as good as book one.

I still couldn´t connect completely with Jade and also not Dillon. I´m not sure why. I´m somehow more curious about Benny and wanted to read more of his POVs.

This series isn´t as dark and crazy as I hoped. It doesn´t blow my mind. There aren´t many surprises :( It makes me sad. I was so excited for this series and so hopeful that it would blow my mind and keep me on my toes. This series has/had so much potential :/

The scenes in the cell... Too short and somehow I´d have loved to have those scenes more detailed. More turture, more crazy, more twisted.

Benny´s background story and family ...well. yeah. It´s ok.

The book still reminded me of crime shows- mainly because there were so many povs from Jade and Dillon. It was a bit boring to be honest. I´d rather have read about the sick and twisted mind of Benny.

What I loved was how much Benny fucked with Jades life and mind even though he loves her. How he took everthing from her, because he wants her for himself. How he also has some other side to him. He isn´t just bad.

I was a bit disappointed with the scene after Dillon and Benny saw each other for the first time. Benny isn´t stupid. There were so many scenes where he and his victims disappeared from one moment to the other. Why didn´t it happen after that scene? Why did he give Dillon the chance?

When Jade learned about her "miracle". I loved it , but really hoped it would go in another direction. I didn´t want Dillon to be the one :P It could have had the potential to make everything more crazy.

In generel... So many things happened I didn´t want to happen. So many scenes I wanted to be differently. I don´t know.... I´m Team Benny ;)

I can´t wait to read the other books, though. I have still hope for this rest of this series. Maybe the last two can make up for the first two ;)

p.s.: Well.. I suppose I was wrong- The review got longer than I thought ;)
