I really liked this book. It was a great office love story :)
At first It wasn´t easy to connect with Georgia (the female protagonist, She´s a broker). She´s a typical career woman. Driven, strong, powerful. She knows what she wants and has her goals. That´s fine but she seemed cold and uptight. I also wasn´t a fan of all her rules. And one of her rules made her quit her job and starting at another firm. And there her world was turned upside down.
Landon is part owner of the company Georgia is now working for. With one look, the air crackled between them. There was instant chemistry and sexual tension. But there was also hate, right? Well, that´s what Giorgia thinks at least. She wants to hate him. But with time she figures out what and who the real problem is.
I really loved everything about their relationship. I loved how they both acted and spoke with each other. It was fun to read it. It made me grin a lot of times. I really, really liked how Georgia struggled with resisting Landon and also herself and how Landon tried to break down her walls. He tried so much to find the real Georgia below the mask she was always showing/wearing.
Also the thing with he club and Apollo- that´s sth different. I liked that.
I think Landon, his Co-Owner (I forgot his name) and Giles were my fave characters.
Landon was hot, charming, funny, sexy, a bit stubborn, but also kind, caring and sweet. He knows what he wants and goes after it. And here it was Georgia.
Giles was such a good friend to Giorgia. Better than this one girlfriend of hers that also lived after the rules. Didn´t like that girl.
It was great how the book ended, but I wished the epilogue had shown sth different too ;) [

What I missed were some emotions. Sure they are both careeer people but still.. I want them to feel more. To be happy and so on. They, especially/mainly Georgia, always seemed so closed off. But maybe it´s just me as for me family is a bit more important than the career.
But all in all, I enjoyed reading this book. It was my first L.P. Lovell book and definitely not my last. I liked the writing style, although there were a few mistakes in it (I got an ARC send so they probably aren´t in the book anymore) :)
p.s.: I´d love to read a book about Landons point of view. I loved him. He was the one I could connect to the most. His point of view could show the things I´m missing, as it always seemed that he wanted to have a relationship (not just a sexual one) with Giorgia and that he loved her the whole time. :)
