Rezension zu "Ceremony" von Leslie Marmon Silko
The healing of a Native American after war
sunplantskyvor 2 Jahren‘Ceremony’ tells the story of Tayo who is a Native American. He fought in the war and has to find himself back home, dealing with his experiences in the war. The story is at the beginning very confusing as it tells parallelly multiple stories of Tayo and his family. There are not really any chapter at all. It mirrors the alienation of the character. The language is very explicit. The reader gets an inside of contemporary Native American culture. Towards the end, more and more things become clearer. This has been a confusing read.
