Maggie Haberman

She's is a White House reporter for The New York Times. She was born and raised in New York City. Before joining The Times in 2015, she worked for the New York Post. She has covered six U.S. presidential elections, as well as several elections for governor and mayor in New York. In 2018, she was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize for reporting on President Donald Trump’s advisers and their connections to Russia. In 2021, she was also part of a team that was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. She has received several journalism awards, including the Aldo Beckman Award from the White House Correspondents’ Association and the Front Page Award for Journalist of the Year from the Newswomen’s Club of New York.
