Inhaltsangabe zu „Eversea“ von Natasha Boyd

You loved Nicholas Sparks' Noah Calhoun. You lusted after Jamie McGuire's Travis Maddox. You'll be dreaming about Jack Eversea...An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt. A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose. A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both for ever. As powerful as the pounding surf, as intoxicating as the sea breeze, this is one love affair you won't be able to forget about...Don't miss the electrifying sequel, FOREVER, JACK.

I don't even know what to think about this book. It has everyhing I despise in a story but I enjoyed it soo much!

  • Cute story lacking in chemistry

I really enjoyed the setting with its summery atmosphere in the Carolinas, the old house and the Hollywood hottie trying to hide. The story itself was a little bit slow and it took a while until I could feel the connection between Keri Ann and Jack. I did like the stoy in the middle part, there were some really cute scenes and there was definitely more chemistry between them. To the end there were quite a few clishees and being not totally overwhelmed with the story, I was kind of annoyed at times. The story does have potential but as I have read quite a bit in this genre by now, it just wasn't very new and there definitely was a lack in chemistry which I have read better by now. I think if I had read it a few years ago, I would have enjoyed it more. The writing style is fast-paced and enjoyable which makes you flying though th pages.
