Nikole Knight

"Far from Ruined" is a great series that I absolutely recommend. Since the story seamlessly follows the two previous volumes, it is recommended that you read the books in order. I loved the story of Silas and Ben. Nikole Knight has a great writing style. It was a great pleasure to read this series simply because it is intense and emotional. Once I started reading, I had a hard time putting the story down.
Silas and Ben go through a lot and a broken heart leaves scars. The two get into unbelievable situations that I never would have expected. But does their relationship have a chance of surviving all of this? The love story hurts fiercely, but with all the drama, you can see the hope and love. The author did a really good job with that. A heartbreaking book, no a heartbreaking series with an ending that so fits for me. Thankfully, because the journey to get there left its mark - on Ben and Silas as much as it did on me.
An absolutely recommendable series that will not be my last series by the author.

The story from the "Foxxxy Gentlemen's Club" continues. This time it's about Adrian, called Angel and Taylor and their story is told realistically. Adrian has a difficult past and he is determined to put it behind him and make a fresh start, which is not always easy. Taylor is also fighting for a better future and is very determined. They both know each other from Foxxxy's and do things together outside of work. I loved how they complement each other and are there for each other. And since family ties are sometimes a really difficult topic, they are both happy about their chosen family.
The story has a good mix of emotion, romance and drama and I loved the way Nikole portrayed Taylor's story.

The narrator Eddie Herrera was new to me. I enjoyed his voice and he did a fantastic job bringing the story and characters to life.

"Every hidden truth" follows on seamlessly from the events of the first volume. Nikole Knight is meanwhile one of the authors I really enjoy reading. Her writing style is great. Written in a relaxed and captivating way. The characters have been developed in depth and the secondary protagonists are also likeable.

Silas still has a big mouth and is prickly, but patient Ben slowly manages to get through to Silas. Eventually they can no longer deny the attraction. And there were some really hot scenes. But it's not just Silas who has a past, Ben does too and then things get out of hand. It was very emotional at the end and I felt and suffered immensely with Ben. Volume two ends with a cliffhanger and I really need to know what happens next with Ben and Silas. I can recommend this series!

Nick Newport's performance was amazing and it was good how he brought the story to life, even though I had trouble telling the characters apart at times.
