Where was the humor?
Definitely not what I expected, the book mistakes stupid jokes and lame dialogues for satirical humor. While the initial plot idea was intriguing, the book got from bad to worse within just a few pages. My turning point went as far as about 20 percent - after that, I just wanted to get it over with. Any attempt at political satire or cynical comments on nowadays society were drowned in juvenile sex fantasies a never ending parade of childish jokes which made me grimace with pain rather than laughter. Definitely not my kind of book or humor, and now I'm happy to forget about it.
