Rong ZHAO

ZHAO Rong was born in 1983 in Shuozhou, Shanxi Province of China, baptized in 2006 into Christ and graduated in 2007 from Printmaking Dept., Central Academy of Fine Art(Beijing), Besides being a visual artist, he is a passionate researcher into the history of ancient sculptures of China, the East-Asian art history, and the ancient ceramic art of Tang and Song dynasties. For the last ten years, he has devoted himself in the field study of Chinese antiquities as well as the study of oversea East-Asian antiquities. He now works and lives in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
