I love Shanora Williams' stories - you'll never be disappointed. That’s for sure!
The story was exciting and totally captivated me. I could really see myself in the cabin and helping Rose to find her friend.
The commentary about domestic violence etc. was really well used. “ 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧.This sentence will probably stay in my memory for a long time - really very well incorporated.
For me personally the many many characters were a bit annoying – there were just too many!
The twist at the end was good too - a bit action-packed - but still good.
