the premise of this is actually so cool. the sons and daughters of demons are roaming the world and have to be bad influences (aka getting other people drunk or addicted etc) in order to survive. basically the worse you are, the better. anna is the daughter of a demon and an angel. a real menace cause she’s the best (or worst) of both worlds. while she’s innocent and sweet - and often acts like that which drove me insane - she has to learn how to be „bad“ too. mostly with the help of kaidan. a mysterious, good looking, british rockstar (he’s 17-18 but hey whatever lmao). i really enjoyed the story but at times it just felt … whatever you know. it got dragged out a little to the point where i asked myself: when will the climax come? anna herself drove me insane like i said. i get that she’s the good girl and all but she’s SO naive at times.

In this dramatic finale to the epic love story between Anna Whitt and Kaidan Rowe, the time has come for Anna, daughter of a guardian angel and a fallen one, to accept her fate as the chosen one. She is destined to rid the earth of demons once and for all. But as Anna and her Nephilim allies prepare for the evil brewing, the powerful Dukes use Anna's love for bad boy Kaidan Rowe against her, and her strength is put to the ultimate test. How far will the two of them go to keep each other alive? Will love conquer all in the final battle between good and evil?

Meinung:

Das Ende der Trilogie war wirklich spannend. Vieles ist passiert, aber es war nicht stressig und das Tempo der verschiedenen Geschehnisse währendem sie passierten,  waren angenehm zum lesen. Die Aktionen sind nachvollziehbar und passend. Im Ganzen ein super Ende! Der Epilog hätte ich mir ein wenig länger gewünscht. Ich hätte gerne noch mehr von den anderen erfahren. Aber im grossen und ganzen ist es toll :)

Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there's Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind. When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?

Meinung:

In Band 1 hatte ich Mühe die Protagonisten zu verstehen und ihre Gefühle nachzuvollziehen. Ich fand es schade, da die Geschichte somit unglaubwürdiger erschien. Band 2 jedoch war viel besser. Mehr Action, Spannung und nachvollziehbarere Momente. Die Gefühle der Protagonisten erschienen realistischer und süss. Ich bin gespannt was in Band 3 passieren wird!
