This is a weird little booklet, I wasn't quite sure what to make of it.
It imitates the bible in a way, but with Blakes own anti-religious twist.
It starts with a kind of creation story in verse, followed by a list of concepts the bible got wrong. Then a list of pretty random proverbs.
After that 4 short stories, or fables and a song of Liberty.
I liked Blakes re-imagining of the biblical lore with Hell as a energetic driving force and some of the proverbs are quite profound, but I probably missed a lot of context, so the fables (called Memorable Fancies) fell flat for me and sounded pretty confused.
It's not really a book to be read for fun, since it's quite disjointed and most likely more interesting to scholars and people with a more profound understanding of Blakes theories.
Interesting, but not really fun.
