Bücher mit dem Tag "andre norton"

Norton had written a series of books that tell a story about the witch world, but the first book is my favorite. 

I really love how Norton takes you from our world to the world of witches. There is no instant sorcery like fireballs or something, but the little wizardry things like intuition, light and strange dog-like animals. It is the atmosphere that comes to my mind at first if I think about this book again.

It was very interesting to remember that in the first book there was nothing to tell that not all is only good about the witches from Estcarp. There is only a brief mention of the difficult situation, that with every generation there is smaller number of woman who are not witches.
And witches must stay virgin to have their powers. It is very, very rare that they will give their powers and authority for love. But the first book let you think, that every woman can decide for herself. So does Jaelithe at the End of the first book.

If you love fantasy books, than tis is a must read book.
