[(Super Structure: The Key to Unleashing the Power of Story)] [Author: James Scott Bell] published on (February, 2015)
- Aine Greaney
Writer with a Day Job
(1)Aktuelle Rezension von: JeryA lot of basic tips which are not new to anyone who read more than 3 books about writing, but nicely presented and organized. Nothing extraordinary innovative or merely creative. Written in an easy, humorous style. - James Scott Bell
How to Make a Living as a Writer by James Scott Bell (2014-10-31)
(1)Aktuelle Rezension von: JeryFull of hands-on device of how to organize your writing life and deliver more and better books. Chapters about time management, committment, self-pub vs. traditional publishing, what to do when you go the self-publishing route (including doing novellas and short stories) and how to stay with your butt in your chair make for a compelling and practical read.
Loved chapter 24, "Make a Life, not just a Living", which is often overlooked by many up and coming writers. - Kevin J. Anderson
Million Dollar Productivity
(1)Aktuelle Rezension von: JeryIt reminds me that there is only one thing to get something done - you do it. Butt in chair, fingers on the keyboard, and one word at a time you write a book.
All of us know what we have to do to be more productive - prioritize, make time for writing, keep at it... This little book is a good reminder of the basic rules for more porductivity, though hardly original. After all, we're all using the same letters of the alphabet :-)
