To be honest - I am just too curious to wait for the translation of volume 2 into German, so I had to read it in English ;-)
Therefore I was really looking forward to Frankies story.
Usually in Sarah Morgan's bool series there is one character I like best and usually their story is the one I just love to read.
My first impression of the Manhattan series was 'Absolutely gotta read Frankie's story!' ... But unfortunately I was a bit dissapointed. Can't explain it really, but I expected sth else. The story was a bit long-winded, the real action is close to the end of the book and the chemistry of the main characters could have been a bit more 'wham', you know. I imagined Frankie to be a bit different from what I read in 'Sleepless in manhattan'.
Would have been interesting if her father appeard out of the blue, or I don't know, just sth to speed up the story...
So, sorry, but I like the first one better...
